After today's announcement, it is a huge relief to know we can officially open on 12th April! WOOHOO.... here's hoping that's the last lockdown we face! It's felt mega long this time round!
As per usual we have a list of guidance we must follow in order to operate. We've listed the guidance below. Also from now on, we are following an allergy alert system which we have previously told you about. We have now contacted any client who needed patch testing, and we will run through the system with each of you at your appointment.
Covid-19 Rules
Please wear a mask to enter the salon, it is a mandatory measure that every client wears a mask throughout their time in the salon, only removing when drinking or for treatment purposes. When entering if someone is checking out at the desk, please wait outside until they have moved. We have a track & trace code to scan if you have the NHS app, we legally must tell you about this, but it is up to you if you want to use this. We will be checking everyone in and keeping details of your stay for at least 21 days as per government guidance. Please do not move through into the salon until you have been checked in at reception as we will ask you a few questions. Please keep an eye out a few days prior to your appointment for a covid consultation form, and if you can please fill this out. Please attend your appointments alone where possible. All equipment we will be using is either single use or sterilised between each client. The salon is also fogged regularly to kill any virus. New guidance states we should have on going ventilation throughout the day, with us having no windows to open, we will be using a fan to ventilate, and if we can, leave the door open, so please if you are a cold person wrap up! Our toilet will remain open during this time, we just ask that you sanitize the seat after use and wash your hands. We are now allowed to offer a drinks service, but we ask that you please refrain from eating in the salon. If you or any household family member have any symptoms however mild, please cancel your appointment and rebook after 14 days.
